Training of Trainers Workshop held from 6th to 10th July 2015 at KEPHIS Headquarters, Nairobi Kenya

 

medium_unido tot 1.jpgTraining of Trainers workshop on Quality Management for Certification of Fruits and Vegetables that was held from 6th July to 10th July 2015.

There were 18 participants drawn from the sub-horticulture export sector (fruits and vegetables) comprising of regulators (KEPHIS, HCD, and PCPB), technical service providers (KARLO, MOALF), business member organizations (FPEAK, AAK) and exporters.

 

The TOT workshop was designed to address these challenges. The workshop will equip and enhance capabilities of trainers to effectively train stakeholders to understand market requirements, implementation and conformity to standards, pest identification and management of MRLS in ensuring food safety. It will also develop a pool of skilled professionals with ability to deliver hands on workshops to groups of private sector operators.
